David Manzanares | Peru Group Manager
David Manzanares is the Peru Group Manager with more than 17 years of experience in the mining sector. David is an associate and active member of the primary mining associations and institutions in Peru and has the responsibility of developing new projects where there is a growing need for automated and integrated monitoring solutions.
Israel Esquivel Flores | Implementation Specialist
Israel holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and has worked as a technician in the operation of a mineral processing plant. Currently, Israel works as part of the Database Support group, performing various functions ranging from configuring instruments to preparing reports. He also monitors leach pads and mine operations in real-time.
Rogelio Quintero | Project Manager
Rogelio Quintero holds a B.S. degree in mining engineering from the University of Arizona, with a focus in processing. He is part of Canary Systems’ Mining Support team, based in Tucson, Arizona, U.S.A. He is responsible for overseeing mining support projects, including those in Peru and surrounding South American countries.

Current & Ongoing Projects
Canary Systems is currently the main strategic partner and supplier of geotechnical instruments and software for one of the 10 largest copper mines in the world, having deployed numerous instrumentation types and software solutions across various mines in Peru.
The integrated instrumentation and data sources include piezometers, settlement plates, and inclinometers, among others. These tools are used to monitor critical areas such as tailings, open pit mines, and leach pads.
These monitoring efforts ensure heightened safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Canary Systems’ advanced integration technology and expertise provide comprehensive data and insights, supporting sustainable and responsible mining practices in the region, as well as meeting and exceeding the security regulations required by primary authorities in U.S.A.,Peru and other countries regarding geotechnical monitoring.
