This board brings together seasoned industry professionals to support Canary Systems’ ongoing mission to deliver innovative, end-to-end monitoring and risk management solutions that help clients better understand and mitigate operational and safety risk.

Advisory Board Members:

Kim Morrison is the Chief Technical Officer of ATC Williams and formerly Senior Director of Global Tailings Management at Newmont Mining.  Kim is an Internationally recognized expert whose influence spans technical innovation, operational excellence, and the editorial leadership of seminal handbooks that have shaped modern tailings and mine waste management practices.

Bob Sharon is a Mining Geomechanics Engineer with 40+ years industry and consulting experience encompassing 100+ mining and civil projects on six continents. Bob currently manages Sharon Geotechnical LLC, a private consulting practice with a primary focus on open pit geomechanics.

Mark Rohde is a Surveying Engineer, B.Sc.E and M.Sc.E with 45+ years of professional experience in high precision engineering surveys, deformation monitoring, and geodetic control surveys.  Project work included concrete and embankment dams, pumped storage power projects, nuclear power plants, tunnels, ground subsidence, and slope stability.
