MLSAA

Overview

The Canary Systems® MLSAA is a turnkey system to automate data collection for up to 5 Measurand® ShapeArrays. It comes integrated with all the components necessary to extract data from the ShapeArray sensors, store it locally, and transmit to the server for further processing and analysis. The optional MLMux5 multiplexer provides up to 10 input channels for expanding the number of sensors connected to each datalogger.
The MLSAA can be optionally equipped with additional sensor interfaces to connect other instrumentation types, which allows for monitoring of a variety of instruments, including vibrating wire, flowmeters, linear potentiometers, 4-20mA and temperature devices such as YSI44005 type thermistors, among others.

Battery & Enclosure

Power to all components is supplied by a rechargeable 12 V 50 Ah lead-acid battery including a 40 W solar panel. The battery is suitable for several weeks of operation without sunlight. It should last for about 3-5 years, though application and measurement interval have a large effect on battery life. The charging is controlled by a CH200, ideal for an external rechargeable 12 VDC battery.
The system includes equipment for remote deployment, and the NEMA 4/12 rated enclosure ensures reliable operation under adverse conditions.
Warranty for the MLSAA is applicable for 1 year.

MLWebHardware Integration

MLSAA can be integrated with the web-based MLWebHardware™, an application designed to communicate, program, and collect from many makes and models of dataloggers and sensors directly. With a user-friendly interface, updating datalogger settings has never been easier

MLSuite Visualization

Datalogger programming, data collection and visualization is also fully integrated with and can easily be managed by the MLSuite® data management platform, without the need for any additional software. Once data is imported to MLSuite, users can prepare charts and calculations such as cumulative displacement.
