MLDAQ-RW-65S

Robotic Control

The Canary Systems® MLDAQ-RW-65S is designed to configure direct control for Robotic Total Stations, specifically the Leica Nova TM30 and TM50 Total Monitoring stations, through our MultiLogger® Suite software. Additional datalogging capabilities enhance the reliability of the system by allowing to remotely monitor environmental conditions including battery and charging levels as well as temperature. Communications are provided using the built-in Lantronix SGX, which offers two communications options: wired Ethernet as well as 2.4GHz WiFi.

The Canary Systems® MLDAQ-RW-65S comes with all accessories for either wired or wireless communications, including a mil-spec Ethernet connector for wired deployment or type-N bulkhead, cable and omni-directional antenna for wireless deployment. A transient protector is also included for the wireless deployments to protect the radio against damage from lightning.

Battery & Enclosure

A large 65AHr internal battery serves as the power source. This provides up to 1 week of operation should power fail. Charging is provided through a 65W solar panel (included in the package). The charge controller features LED indication of charging and power status.

All cables for the robotic connection, including power and communications, are included with the MLDAQ-RW-65S – which translates into quick and easy deployment. Enclosure mounting is simple using the mounting lugs on the steel enclosure.

Optional uni-strut brackets are available for simple pole mounting. All mounting accessories except the anchor bolts and pole (if pole mounting is being used) are included standard with the package.

Our MultiLogger® Suite is used for configuring the power and temperature recording of the MLDAQ-RC-65S in addition to controlling the Total Station itself.

Housed in a NEMA 4/12 rated painted steel enclosure with mil-spec connectors and cables and industrial rated components, the MLDAQ-RW-65S is well suited for reliable operation in harsh environments.
