Automated
Designed to automatically monitor a variety of instruments including vibrating wire gages
The Canary Systems® MCLOG-WS-24S is a wireless weather station optimized for many types of meteorological and climatological monitoring. It features accurate measurements, low power requirements and proven reliability in demanding environments.
At the heart of the system is the Campbell Scientific® CR300 measurement and control module. This MCU provides very flexible programming and communications, along with large internal data storage, and is capable of operating under a wide range of temperatures.
Data can be viewed and stored in units of your choice. Measurement rates and data recording interval are independently programmable, allowing calculation of 15-minute, hourly and daily data values from 1-minute or 1-second measurements, for example.
Conditional outputs, such as rainfall intensity and wind gusts, can also be recorded. The program can be modified at any time to accommodate different sensor configurations or new data processing requirements. If needed, channel capacity can be expanded using Canary Systems® multiplexers.
The MCLOG-WS-24S utilizes the all-in-one Campbell Scientific® ClimaVUETM50 meteorological sensor. A complete weather sensor with no moving parts that is able to report:
The MCLOG-WS-24S weather station is designed for reliable operation in extreme weather conditions. A 12V 24AHr sealed lead-acid battery powers the system and can be recharged through AC battery charges and the supplied 30W solar panel.
A NEMA 4X rated fiberglass reinforced polyester (FRP) enclosure and mil-spec connectors and industrial cable glands protect against harsh conditions and the elements.
Optional mounting kits are available. The enclosures are easily wall-mounted using the integrated enclosure mounting tabs. The MCLOG-WS-24S comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
