Canary Systems is an electronic hardware and software engineering firm specializing in civil engineering related monitoring and instrumentation applications. Projects include monitoring of large open pits, earth, concrete and tailings dams, bridges, tunnels and buildings. We operate in several markets including construction, mining, geotechnical, industrial and public infrastructure.

The Administrative Assistant will fulfill general office and administrative tasks, and assist the Head Office Manager in various accounting related activities. We are looking to immediately fill this full-time position in our Tucson, AZ office.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Create customer invoices
  • Office and Shipping supplies
  • Answering the phone / Reception
  • Assist with scheduling
  • Verification of receipts and accuracy of expense reports
  • Post vendor invoices to QuickBooks
  • Organize company events such as lunches and group meetings
  • Organize vehicle maintenance

Expertise Required:

  • Minimum 2 years of business administration experience
